The AntiSocial Engineer needed to dramatically alter their brand identity, to alter the grungy look they had previously to be more appealing to the larger businesses they were starting to deal with.

The brand needed to retain some of the edginess of the previous brand and give a nod to the disruptiveness it represented. All this while having a more mature, clean feel.

We retained the edginess and disruptiveness by using broken type for the ‘Anti’ part of the logo; this is still fully legible to read but gives props to the previous incarnation of the logo. A new icon was created featuring a lock and the ‘@’ symbol, emphasising the online safety they can provide.

As part of the re-brand, three sub-brands were created, following the style of the main logo so that they are instantly recognisable as ‘The AntiSocial Engineer’

The new branding and sub-branding have been rolled out across their existing social media, website and company documents.

“When we needed to dramatically alter our brand, we asked different graphic designers for input, they wanted to take our brand’s values and tone them down, making them all clinical and boring. When we went to Ginger Fox Studio they fully redesigned our branding and logo – whilst keeping the ‘antisocial’ style our clients had grown to expect – That’s what the right talent can do where others fail. I would recommend this up and coming talent to my peers.”
