FIGHTING AGAINST MODERN SLAVERY IN THE UK
SOUTH YORKSHIRE MODERN SLAVERY PARTNERSHIP
Funded by the South Yorkshire Police and Crime Commissioner, led by local organisations Ashiana, City Hearts, Snowdrop Project and South Yorkshire Police, and supported by the four local authorities, the South Yorkshire Modern Slavery Partnership was founded with the aim of increasing the identification of potential modern slavery victims, supporting survivors, and increasing the prosecution of those responsible for their exploitation.
Modern slavery is such a complex issue that it cannot be tackled by one individual or organisation, so it was an honour and privilege to work on the partnership’s brand identity.
The SYMSP felt that it was essential to demonstrate the union between the various organisations, as well as the different regions within South Yorkshire that have joined forces against the exploitation of individuals.
We achieved this by utilising a colour palette that incorporated the colours of each of the individual organisations, within the shape of the map of South Yorkshire.
As a result, we created a bold icon that stands strong on its own, as well as when paired with the type. This brand was then carried across business cards, folders, leaflets and social media graphics, ensuring a cohesive identity across all platforms.
